Canaan Smith

I recently worked on a small EPK for Cannan Smith. I edited some old footage they had together with an interview I shot for Travis TV. It was probably one of the more challenging color corrections that I've had to work on. The footage that I received was completely bunk. It was washed out and effected to the extreme and the client wanted to go back to more normal footage. Got it done though and it ended up looking pretty good. All in all a good day!!

Evamor

This was a really cool opportunity (pun intended) My brother-in-law hooked me up with a chance to direct four commercials for Southern Fried Fitness. It's a show that is appearing on PBS. They are airing their third series. I called James King, my long time friend and DP with LoadedDeckEntertainment to shoot the video. We used the cannon 7D so we could do some over cranked product shots. It turned out great. Kyle Kellerman ran sound and gripped. We edited the video in Final Cut and the color corrections and post work is being done in After Effects. Naseer Haider from UAE created the logo.

Ashton Shepard

Wes Human and I just finished editing Ashton Shepard's

piece for GAC. It's going to air next week. It was great putting this piece together. Wes did a lions share of the work, while I was working on a video for Andy Andrews. I edited block 3 and 4 and color corrected the video. The final look is killer. 

Miranda Lambert

In the sensational words of Greg Kinnear in Little Miss Sunshine I sayeth, "Sweet sweetness!" I am fortunate enough to be working on the EPK for Miranda Lambert's new album, For the Record. It's a fantastic collection of songs ranging from rockish anthems to emotionally sensitive ballads. It's a great mix that really broadens her range and bumps her up a couple notches in my book.

Lady Antebellum

I just finished working on my favorite EPK ever. It was for the latest release of Lady Antebellums new album "Own The Night." There are a lot of great tracks on this album. My favorite so far is Just a Kiss. It is really a great, heartfelt song and the music video is inspiring. Wish I had directed it :( Next time!!

CMI Weekly Meeting

Today we started by talking about the week then shifted into our ideas for what we should do. We talked about social media, streamlining workflow. We're working on figuring out who we are as a company and the face that we want to present to our clients. The homework assignment is to take the words that we have been talking about and turn them into a tagline phrase.

Key Characteristics: Creative, Video Production, innovation/visionary, solutions, translate/communicate, relatable, attention to detail, customized, unique workflow, client involvement, follow through, commitment to excellence, commitment to the client. We genuinely want our clients to succeed.
